Downtubes & items up to 72″ long – flat $45 (mailing tube)
Mailing tube fits up to 4 Litestream, 3 Slipstream/Zoom, or 8 round downtubes

Tip wands, short battens – flat $35 (mailing tube)

Wires, other small parts – $10-$15

Front keels, front leading edges – Can’t ship items over 9ft

damaged sidewire tang on Wills Wing hang glider
On a WW Litestream or Slipstream control frame, if you break a downtube outward, the sidewire tang can get smashed between the fittings as above, and it needs replacing.

Common signs you should replace some parts:

  • Bottom side wires – After 100 hours, or if kinked, sheathing torn, bent tang, or broken strand
  • Other wires – Damage as above
  • Hang loop – Frayed or a decade old
  • VG rope, other ropes – Frayed
  • Tip wands – Crack near end
  • Ball lock pins – Sticking

Bottom front wires and bottom rear wires are load-bearing and sometimes replaced periodically. Other wires might be good indefinitely. Any wires should be replaced upon signs of damage to the wire or tang.
